Truth or Dare?
TRUTH -Embarrassing, but the truth is last December I weight my self and was shocked to see the results. For someone that has no problem finding a nice boyfriend, fun friends and family, have a blast shopping and finding the cutest little clothing at remarkable prices, I didn't think it was this bad.
From childhood I have always had a fluctuating weight problem. I don't want to do any surgeries to correct this and unfortunately living in the Caribbean there are no Jenny Craig or weight watchers, the food is so tasty so this in it self is going to be a challenge.
For god sakes I work in a hospital where we promote a healthy life style and fix the problems of people that don't. I have previously registered with weight watchers online, spoke to our nutritionist about a diet plan an literally took them for granted. Something definitely has to be done.
At 25years old. I am 5'9" wearing size 18-20. My body may not look like that to me but YES I am officially obese. This is the biggest I have ever been and it scares the crap out of me.
DARE-I am going to be 26 on the 27th June and I am daring myself to loose 60lbs.
I don't want to be a size 6. I like being on the plus size of the world but I have to be conscious of any health issue this could cause and I would love to start a family this year, so for the month of January I have lost 14lbs just by not eating the things I normally would. I am down to 284lbs but have to step it up a bit because you start to loose less if you don't build a routine in living a healthy life style.
I know most of you are wondering how is this going to work starting but tomorrow I am back to the dietitian and will have to start a little exercise routine more than taking my dog out twice a day. Stay tune for tips and progress updates.
I am also open for more cooking tips, encouragement and advice on achieving my goal.
Please don't make it to extreme for me but I am looking forward to your comments.

Goodbye @_@ straight and Hello Curls
Hello Family,
You have seen me in all my Christmas photos with straight hair. I actually got my hair blow dried at the salone on the 23rd December. I have been avoiding any form of moisture and the cool winter breeze has been such a great factor with this.
It has been 4 weeks now, the longest time ever my blow dry has lasted an probably could have lasted longer but I just had to wash my hair. So here you have it a closer look on how my hair literally curls at the touch of moisture and this is only when I apply my shampoo.
I LOVE MY HAIR!
